Vogue Verse
BackVogue Verse is the start-up I created for my final project in one of my business classes: BAEP 465: Digital Playbook: Creating A Tech Start-Up. In the beginning of the semester, we were tasked with coming up with an idea for a tech-start up and pitching it to the class. We voted, and the top 10 projects were given a team of 5 to help build out the idea for the final project. Vogue Verse was my idea: a trailblazing online clothing rental marketplace connecting people who want to lend clothes and people who are looking to rent a piece of clothing, all while promoting sustainable fashion. My vision was a version of Depop, but for rentals, so lenders can earn money on the clothes they love but don’t wear everyday without giving them up, and renters have access to a comprehensive selection of apparel, for any and every occasion at a reasonable price. Our final pitch earned the highest grade in the class, and as a fashion-enthusiast, tech-junkie, and tree-hugger, I hope to one day bring Vogue Verse to life.

Vogue Verse CEO and Captain
My Role:
As an the CEO and founder of Vogue Verse, and the captain of my group project team, I guided the company's vision and oversaw all tasks and aspects of the project. I delegated roles for the project, and for myself, I took on making the promotional video, exploring Imovie as well as the prototype using Figma for the first time (see below). I also did the majority of the market research and industry analysis for my original pitch, which my team helped bolster as the project progressed.
Time Frame:
August 2023-December 2023
